We are flying back to Halifax to pick up our MH today. After a hearty Nfld breakfast we hit the road as we had a 10:15 AM flight and the Thistles had a Medical appointment about the same time. As usually, we arrived early and the flight was delay but only by 1/2 an hour. One of the perks for being a veteran is that we don't have to wait in line or at least that has been my experience.
When we arrived in Halifax , our friend and military buddy, Barry was waiting to pick us up. Another, perk, with friends across Canada. Our MH was parked in the same camp site as Barry so we were delivered to a cold MH. The weather was cool and rainy which it continued to do most of the evening. We spent most of the afternoon doing a wash as we had a ton of dirty clothes from our Newfie trip.
We are heading East tomorrow so we had to do some grocery shopping which includes all the food groups that includes Beer. After supper we dropped in on Barry and Ann to say farewell and to thank them for their Nova Scotia hospitality. Tomorrow we will be in Moncton and hope to get our fridge fixed. cheers
